Acerca de Planetario Ka'Yok'

Planetarium Ka’Yok’ for 8 years, is one of the most important planetariums nationwide. It is governed by the COQCYT and is the second of the 4 nodes of the Planetary Network of the State of Quintana Roo. It name means “our universe”. You will learning about science, technology and the Mayan cosmogony. Within their facilities they have:

• Digital dome
• Observatory
• Water museum
• Audience
• Hall of the Planets
• Didactic Classroom

Among the activities that you can carry out is the observation of the Sun, the Moon, a nebula or some Planet, as well as stellar objects with an 18-inch diameter telescope. Every month there are special events and workshops for the whole family. Your children will be able to develop their abilities to the maximum on the Lego Island, observe the details of insects with a magnifying glass, discover the organs and systems of the human body, solve challenges of the Tower of Hanoi, the Soma Cube, the Tangram and even celebrate their birthday at the Planetarium with his friends. Remember that the entry is free and some activities have additional cost.
