Acerca de Centro Cultural Xbalamque

Xbalamqué Cultural Center is a space that was created in 2009 in order to open the doors to local, national and international artists and cultural agents. It is located in the center of the city, inside the hotel that bears the same name. From the moment you arrive, the architecture and decoration of this place represent the Mayan culture.

Although it is not a large space, within its facilities you will find a theater, exhibition space, outdoor space with chairs and small tables, and restrooms. It was closed for 3 years, however in January 2023 it opened again offering almost 10 activities per week. Here your family and you can enjoy:

• Local and independent theater performances.
• Conferences
• Music concerts
• Dance shows, magic, impro, Stand Up
• Screening of documentaries and art films
• Organization of courses, workshops, contests, festivals
• Exhibition of paintings and photography
• Including requests for boyfriends, marriage and weddings.

They currently have a billboard through their social networks, where they inform viewers of the activities, presentations and workshops that will take place throughout the month. In general, the functions are on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are for all the ages.
