The Zona Arqueológica Kabah is one of the most important in Yucatan, likewise it is part of La Ruta Puuc constituted by the 5 most important Mayan zones of the South region. It was also declared a State Park since 1993. To get here you can do it by car, tour and even by Uber since it is 1 hour and a half from Mérida.
You can visit this place with a tourist guide which you can hire at the entrance, the duration of the tour is approximately 1 hour with the most detailed explanations of the history of Kabah. If you have very young children, I suggest you enter without a guide and do the tour on your own so that the children can enjoy themselves at their own pace.
What children like most is to be able to explore, since they can climb almost all the pyramids and structures. Mainly see the wonderful temple dedicated to the god Chaac, full of Chaac masks and hieroglyphs. They will surely be surprised to see the iguanas running in these wide spaces.

increíble lugar y te dejan explorar lo que quieras. Desde que llegas por carretera, te atrapan sus construcciones, es magnífico. Y una vez dentro es un lugar en dónde te llenas con cada detalle, me tocó estar prácticamente sola con los niños y ellos lo amaron más.
