“Educación para la Vida” es el lema con el que nos recibe el Colegio Montessori. Este método se enfoca en el niño y su libre desenvolvimiento en entornos cuidadosamente dispuestos y bajo la observación de una guía que está para acompañarle durante su aprendizaje. La escuela de Playa del Carmen es encantadora. Se localiza en el fraccionamiento Selvamar y es la única certificada junto con los maestros en esta zona. Los costos son elevados mayormente que el promedio pero vale la pena la inversión.
Tiene salones o ambientes donde conviven niños de diferentes edades en períodos de tres años. Nos advierten que ningún detalle se deja al azar y que todo tiene una razón de ser. Esta escuela trabaja con un método respetuoso donde educan a los niños para que puedan desenvolverse en cualquier ambiente, sean ordenados, autónomos y se conviertan en adultos felices. Manejan los niveles desde maternal hasta primaria. Tienen actividades extra escolares como clases de pintura, música y escultura.
No es una escuela bilingüe pero tienen un ambiente de inglés en el que buscan enriquecer el vocabulario, la lectura, escritura y el conocimiento de la gramática. Llevan al niño a su ritmo y no presionan en temas para los que aun no se siente listo. La comunicación con los padres es muy abierta pues crean una familia.

La atención desde un inicio es pobre, tienen mala comunicación. No es tan montessori como te la venden; el nombre y los materiales, si acaso (que por cierto ya se les notan sus años) cosa que no va acorde al alto costo de materiales que cobran. No es una escuela que se adapta al desarrollo del niño, \'no sigue al niño\'. La guía Marcela de Casa de niños, fue muy muy grosera e irrespetuosa, si así trata a un adulto, me dejo mucho a pensar como trata a los niños con la presión que eso implica. Buscan mantenerlos sentados, y sus métodos para \"tranquilizarlos\" es asustando o amenazando que llevarán a otro salón.

María Montessori debe estar muy decepcionada al ver el bajo nivel académico que tienen los niños. Un método maravilloso, lo contradicen con actitudes pobres de espíritu. Es cruel para un niño no aprender. Sabemos que no es bilingüe, los padres lo asumimos, pero no sabemos que tampoco van a aprender a sumar. Las organizaciones reflejan los valores de sus líderes, y esta institución me da pena porque el reflejo es muy carente de valores, de coherencia y de amor por los niños.

No me gustaron muchas cosas de este colegio, no los dejan levantar la voz en recreo, hay dias que no tienen recreo y casi todos los dias no habia borrador, ya que hay uno para todo el ambiente y de material te cobran mucho y no lo renuevan año con año, la actitud de la dueña ante la pandemia fue de no hablar con nadie y muy cambiante.

Mis hijas asisten felices a la escuela. Las guías Montessori son muy lindas y cariñosas con todos los niños.
Mi hijo cursó kínder cuando apenas tenía 3 años aprendió a dejar el pañal pero la guía “Claudia” no estaba preparada para el. No son inclusivos, es una escuela cara y no tienen tacto.
