Parque de los Olivos is a very well hidden gem north of Playa del Carmen. This park is large and has several sections to do different outdoor activities. Everything is fenced and around it are the houses of Ciudad Natura and Los Olivos 3 so security and movement is constant. It has 2 entrances, one at the beginning and the other at the end of the park.
When you get to the parking lot and walking a little further you will see the basketball court with a concrete floor and functional hoops, most of the children use their bicycles and skates in this place. There is tile area that people use for classes. In front of it is the playground outdoor for childrens, it has a pebble floor, a slide (a bit sloppy), swings and a seesaw.
You can make a picnic or your children can do their homework because there are benches with cement tables, I suggest you bring a placemat. Keep in mind that there are no toilets.
It has a synthetic grass field for soccer 7 fenced but without shade that you can use it when there is no one so that babies who are learning to walk can enjoy themselves out of danger. In the back there are some devices to exercise you.
There is a path through the entire park which covers almost 1 km, be careful since the vegetation is high and there are some mosquitoes and insects, so I recommend using repellent. Arriving at the end of the park you will find some wooden stairs that will take you to a hidden cenote, it is not suitable for swimming and is still being explored.
Parque los Olivos is well preserved, please, although there are garbage cans, these tend to get very saturated, I recommend you take your garbage. This place is pet friendly. The least crowded hours are after 10 am and before 5 pm.

Cómo llegar: El parque se localiza casi al final de Paseo de los Olivos 3 pasando la glorieta y antes de llegar a la Iglesia de San Patricio. Puedes llegar por la av. Colosio y dar vuelta para los Olivos, puedes llegar por Palmas 2 o por la calle que llega a Real Amalfi.

Lindo parque recreativo lo único que no me gusta que la gente suelta a sus perritos y hay siempre muchos niños.
