Muyil is one of the archaeological zones located in Quintana Roo that are not yet as popular but have been of great historical importance. Its name refers to its geographical position. It is located 20 minutes from Tulum and is within the Sian Ka’an biosphere reserve. A curious fact is that these ruins have a certain architectural resemblance to those of Tikal in Guatemala. This area functioned as a trade route for the Maya along the coast and through a network of canals in this region.
The place is small but magical. It offers two parts: Muyil A and Muyil B, however only area A is open to the public, which has pyramids, religious structures and a characteristic long white path very similar to that of Cobá. The most impressive is the “Castillo” one of the tallest pyramids, however you cannot climb it. The area in general is very pleasant and shady for the little ones, I do not recommend taking a stroller due to the type of soil.
Hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost of access is $45 pesos, however for nationals it is free on Sundays. Inside the place there are parking lots, restrooms and a rest area. Please note that there is no shop in or around the area. There is a lagoon where you can do the tour by boat, although I do not suggest that you take small children as it can last up to 3 hours and there are crocodiles in the area.
Likewise, you can take a walk of approximately 30 minutes and find a beautiful viewpoint where you can observe birds of the region. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

Esta muy bonito el lugar solo que llevamos a los niños n la lancha y no tenian ningun tipo de proteccion, esta muy virgen aun.
