Punta Sur is one of the points of Isla Mujeres, the highest to be exact, it combines having a beautiful viewpoint with cliffs with one of the best views of the sea. Once you arrive at the port and get off the ferry, you can rent a golf cart, take a taxi, use a bicycle or take the public bus to get here. It is approximately 15 minutes.
This place offers to the goddess Ixchel, Mayan goddess of the Moon, love and fertility, which she received offerings with female forms that believers deposited on her beaches. If you want to take the best pictures of your children, this place is the ideal one. Whether you are staying on Isla Mujeres or going for a day, we suggest you arrive very early so you can see the sunrise since this is the first point in all of Mexico that the sun touches with its rays every day.
Here, in addition to the viewpoint, is the Sculpture Park where you can appreciate 23 outdoor sculptures by artists such as: Vicente Rojo, José Luis Cuevas, Bruce Beasley and more. This has a cost from $129 pesos for locals, and opens from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Once you have finished touring the Park, continue along the walkway until you reach the cliffs where the Temple of Ixchel is, and many iguanas. We suggest that if you bring small children you bring a stroller. At the end of the place there is a small terrace with a restaurant where you can buy snacks and drinks.

Desde el mirador se puede ver una bonita vista de los acantilados pero no más. Para hacer el recorrido por las pasarelas hay que abonar una entrada. También hay algunos puestos donde se puede comprar artesanía. Los niños aman ver las iguanas.
