El Rey Ruins are all that remain of an ancient Mayan city. They are located in the center of the Cancun hotel zone. You can explore the 47 stone structures. Climb to the top of the tallest structure, where you will find a Mayan temple and the tomb of an important character.
Some of the stone walls are still adorned with paintings. It is possible to distinguish the images that represent kings and other important members of the community. El Rey is not as big as other archaeological areas; however it is an approach to the first inhabitants of Cancun.
The ruins also have another tourist attraction. Today, El Rey Ruins is habited by a large colony of iguanas. Accustomed to living with people. Your children and you will have a great time because you can feed them with fruit.
The ruins are open daily and there is a small entrance fee, except on Sundays, when admission is free. There are almost no shady spots at the ruins, so bring an umbrella, hat and sunscreen.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
