Acerca de Planetario Sayab

Planetario Sayab is the only one located in Playa del Carmen. It is being the 4th. node of the Planetary State System. This place has different sections depending on the type of activity you and your children are interested in. Within its facilities it has a library – playroom where they have small tables with chairs so you can enjoy a good read.

There are all titles available including children. It has the dome and a room where there are projections with different themes and live narration. In the upper exterior part they have different telescopes used at night for astronomical evenings or for observing the sun during the day.

Every day from Wednesday to Sunday they have different programs and movies for children ages 3+. The entrance is totally free, what has a recovery fee are the activities and they range from $20 to $60 pesos per person. For large groups or schools there are special tours.

They have workshops and courses for children, such as advice on chemistry and physics, robotics, how to build telescopes, care for the environment, the earth, dinosaurs, among others. To be able to see the dates and book, I suggest you follow their calendar of activities on the facebook page.
