Acerca de Biblioteca Pública JAIME TORRES BODET

Biblioteca Pública JAIME TORRES BODET is a model library as it was selected by CONACULTA as 1 of the 10 best in the entire country. In addition to having more than 15,300 copies, it is the most complete in Playa del Carmen. Its facilities are medium, it does not have parking and it does have restrooms. Here you can find 4 areas: children’s, the toy library, the adult area, and the informal room where they have donated books.

The toy library is in a separate space within the Library. It has some work tables and shelves with children’s compilations of all themes. Also certain times of the year, such as summer, they offer fun summer courses to children. There is a space where they have computers and a digital module so that people can work, since there is free Wi-Fi. I believe that it is an ideal place for children to get closer to reading and learn what a library can offer.
