Acerca de Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Yucatán

The Yucatan Science and Technology Park is located on the outskirts of the city. This park was built with the purpose of doing research for the whole country. However, over time, activities, workshops and areas were developed, in order to promote experiential experiences, as well as provide children and young people with the appropriate materials in the scientific study and reproduction of living beings.

What we most recommend for children are 3 beautiful spaces made for them:

• El Mariposario, this incredible place is a small sanctuary that preserves butterflies. Here the children are taught how they are formed, how they eat and have activities to increase their knowledge.
• Science Teaching Resource Center (Creci), workshops are given where children learn experientially, living with the elements, biological, chemical, physical and mathematical phenomena.
• The Bioterio, in this space there are ponds and terrariums where the reproduction of terrestrial and aquatic organisms such as snails, earthworms and fish is housed, as well as plants such as microalgae. Here the little ones can take a guided tour.
