Museo de Historia Natural is one of the museums created so that children have a small learning center. It is located next to the “El Centenario” Zoological Park. It was built in 1980 and has been remodeled and opened 3 times. Although it is not very big, it has 3 permanent exhibition halls. The tour lasts 1 hour and is free, since there is no guide
Here your children will learn mainly about the creation of the universe, meteorites, birds of the region and what most excites children “Dinosaurs”. This room is one of the favorites because there is a huge model with dinosaurs in the middle of its room. Children cannot touch any piece on display, but they can take photos. If they don’t know how to read, you can explain to them since there are information sheets in each space.
Access is totally free. If you want to do a guided or group tour, whether school or family, you can book it in advance. Sometimes they offer workshops, conferences and activities on commemorative dates. Like all museums, Monday is the only day that it is not open, however it opens at 9 and closes at 2 pm. It does not have parking, but you can leave your car in the Soriana that is on the side.

Es un museo pequeño pero a mis hijos les gusta ir cada que vamos al zoológico, lo que no nos gusta es que deberían de dejar entrar menos personas pues estaba muy chiquito.
