MUSA is the Underwater Museum of Art, which is a project based on an underwater art collection within an area of more than 420 square meters. It was created in 2009 by Doctor Jaime González Cano, Master Roberto Díaz Abraham and British artist Jason deCaires Taylor.
It is made up of more than 500 life-size sculptures that were placed underwater in front of Isla Mujeres. The materials with which they are made are sustainable, which simulate corals that offer shelter to fish. They will closely observe each of the pieces in addition to seeing marine fauna such as turtles, the duration is approximately 3 hours.
In order for you to tour the museum you need to hire a diving or snorkeling tour. It is suitable for those who have little experience underwater or for those who are learning to dive. If you go with children they can snorkel (7+) or stay on top of the boat. For those who dive, they offer you a quick mini course before entering the museum.
You can hire the tour leaving both from Cancun, with certified companies such as AQUAWORLD or from Isla Mujeres. In these tours they normally offer you the tour and transfer, sanitized equipment, bottled water and certified guides. You can also bring your own camera or hire a photography package. As a recommendation, some people tend to suffer from dizziness, so we suggest that your breakfast or that of the little ones be very light and when you leave you bring snacks and enough water to hydrate.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

Impresionante. Se puede ver el museo simplemente haciendo snorkel desde la superficie. Más económico y seguramente mejor! Los niños se quedan impactados.
