Botanical Garden Dr. Alfredo Barrera is a privileged jungle area with 65 hectares, making it the largest in the Mexican Republic. It is the most important in the region since its main function is the conservation of the biodiversity of the North of Quintana Roo. It is the only reservoir of original vegetation that remains in this area. It was founded in 1982 in order to protect the local fana and flora.
I believe that the Dr. Alfredo Barrera Botanical Garden is ideal for children since there is so much diversity that they can learn and explore a lot, including us. The main activity that can be done here is a tour of the entire space. You can do this yourself together with your family or you can hire a guide to explain it better, this service has an additional cost.

Nos dieron un recorrido donde nos explicaron a los niños y adultos todo acerca de la flora y fauna de acá de Quintana Roo, hicimos una actividad referente y el guía fue súper amable con los niños! Hay noches de recorrido que recomiendo para adultos ya qué hay muchos moscos.
